As Comptroller for Webb & Brooker, Vernon Fray supervises all finance and record keeping for the company and serves as direct liaison to its principals on such matters. Mr. Fray has over 20 years experience in finance and received his undergraduate degree from the University of the West Indies. He also received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Long Island University’s Graduate School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
My Fray joined Webb & Brooker in 2008. Prior to this position he was the Senior Director of Real Estate Accounting for Palladia Inc., one of the largest not-for-profit multi-service agencies in New York City. In this role, he oversaw and streamlined the group’s quarterly financial reporting and collaborated with the Senior Director of Asset Management in fiscal matters relating to real estate entities. Before joining this firm he served as the Director of Finance for Comunlife, Inc., a corporation dedicated to providing community-based mental health, social services and housing to diverse population in New York City.
Mr. Fray has also worked with other major New York City institutions such as the New York City Mission Society, where he functioned as the Chief Financial Officer, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art where he was the Associate Comptroller. He has also worked as an auditor for a Certified Public Accounting firm. |
