Jeffrey R. Brooker, President of Webb & Brooker and its senior operating officer, is responsible for
reviewing all property operations on a regular basis. A highly qualified and experienced real estate broker/property manager, Mr. Brooker has extensive experience in the following areas of real estate and asset management: daily management operations; design and implementation of preventative
maintenance programs; contract and lease negotiations; marketing techniques and analysis; and,
financial planning and control.
At Webb & Brooker, Mr. Brooker's particular area of expertise is complex, multi-party transactions, and he provided service to a host of well-known clients including Met Life, European American Bank, Fleet Bank, the National Basketball Players Association, Columbia Unversity, Louise Wise Services and the City of New York. For these organizations, Mr. Brooker leverages his expert knowledge of New York's complex real estate market to achieve excellent results that meet and exceed his clients' expectations.
In addition to this role, Mr. Brooker has spearheaded several transactions critical to the commercial rebirth of Harlem. These assignments included the location of approximately 100,000 SF of New York State offices to 125th Street.
Before joining Webb & Brooker, Mr. Brooker served as an Assistant Manager and Manager of Leasing for the Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States. His responsibilities included conducting
negotiations with office, industrial and retail tenants and oversight of managing agents assigned to various properties.
Mr. Brooker has been a member of the Real Estate Board of New York for two decades, and he has served as a governor of the organization. In addition, he serves on the Boards of the Council on the Environment of New York City, the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone Development Corporation and the 125th Street Business Improvement District. He is also a member of the Harlem Business Alliance.
A graduate of Dartmouth College, Mr. Brooker obtained his academic real estate training at the Real Estate Institute at New York University. He gained his practical experience in real estate through working with his father, George Brooker, one of the country's leading real estate management professionals and the founding partner of the firm. |
